Mike Natter, MD is an internal medicine resident at a hospital in NYC. He describes himself as an artist first and a doctor second. His background in art is what helps him learn, teach, and practice medicine. Natter, a Type 1 Diabetic, plans to complete a fellowship in Endocrinology to help others who share his disease. His work falls into a few categories, from detailed anatomical illustrations, to graphic novel type drawings depicting his medical journey, and even some lighthearted cartoons poking fun at the medical culture and teaching medical concepts.
