"Not only do I use Microns (mostly 005 and 01) for ALL my illustrations and lettering,
but I also promote them in my “Illustrated Travel Journaling Kit.” The tote contains among other things, the Koi Watercolor Field Kit, Sakura Glue Pen, and Micron pens 01 and 05. Obviously I love Sakura products.
When my first book, Very California, was published I sent it to Sakura with a note that I had used their Micron pens for the illustrations and lettering. I simply thought they might get a kick out of it. They did, and we’ve been friends ever since."
